Man - I'm in TV heaven. Upgraded my Comcast to the new DVR
and HD package. Also got a new iPod MINI. I'm just in techno-gadget
nirvana.

3. I bought a WinTV PVR for my system. Works perfectly in Linux too.

So it's my own DVR of sorts.

5. Besides using like a VCR, the best use of my PVR for live TV
Turn it onto right channel for the program you want to watch. Push pause when the program starts. For a one hour program, do something else for 20 minutes, then push play to start watching. You can quickly fast forward through all commercials and finish up watching as the program ends live.

Love those gadgets! Enjoy your PVR!
