Sex-abuse farmer killed by family and fed to dogs

INGOLSTADT - A court in Germany on Friday handed down prison sentences against a farmer's wife and her two daughters along with a son-in-law who murdered the farmer and fed his dismembered flesh to his own dogs.

In tearful testimony before Ingolstadt State Court, the defendants said the 52-year-old man had sexually abused his two daughters since they were pre-adolescent children.

The daughters, now 18 and 20, told the court he had abused them up to twice a week. The older woman said the abuse had continued even after her boyfriend moved in at the farm on the banks of the Danube.

In autumn 2001 the victim's wife and the son-in-law decided to put an end to the situation and killed him while he was in a drunken stupor. The son-in-law used a meat axe and a saw to dismember the body, meat from which he fed to the farmer's dogs.
