Sex Show (Political Fundraiser)

Organizers are expecting between 125 and 150 people to attend a fund raising event for the BC Sex Party tonight.

Organizer John Ince says that while the audience will see four couples actively engaged in sex, the event is not about being titillating. It's about making a political statement. “It is important that our society begin to look at provincial policies that affect sexuality. Those policies are in the Education Ministry, in the liquor branch that would deny erotic art installations in bars, but allow violent activities such as wrestling or kick boxing.”

The last time Ince staged one of these events, police threatened to shut it down. They are making no such threats concerning tonight’s event.
