St. Louis prosecutors on Thursday said a charter school employee stole more than $100,000 from school accounts and used it to buy a BMW, fancy clothes, hotel stays and airline flights.
Eric C. Griffin, an assistant office manager of the Ethel Hedgeman Lyle Academy on Washington Avenue, cashed checks for as much as $18,000 between November and April, prosecutors said.
