I have a very obnoxious boss .
Tonight as we were getting off work , a co-worker of mine went into the office to ask the boss if he could volunteer to help work in another department over the weekend . The other department needed as much help as possible anyway since they are behind and my co-worker is a very hard worker and he has time to come in this weekend . So as he asks our boss if he could volunteer to come in , the boss says " Why , don't you have a life of your own ? " - How rude is that ? Most of the time they are always trying to find someone to point the finger at because they are not doing work and this person actually wants to work 9 hours on Saturday , and he gets the ugly face .

1. Somebody just doesn't give a fuck
My question is, just how do people like this find themselves in positions of authority?

It's bad from that person on down

3. What's sad about it is that nobody ever goes to him for anything ...
because when you ask him something , he has no clue . We fear our department will be shut down for this . We reported him to Human Resources last week because his attitude .

2. show how the boss is standing to the workplace
sounds to me like he doesn't like his job and wonders that other actually might enjoy what they are doing.

4. We , the workers actually know more ...
we know more about what is going than he does . You would think that a manager should be able to do the exact same job that the workers are doing but this is not the case . And it gets really annoying . We do the work and manage ourselves . But when something goes really really good , of course he takes the credit . And I hate it .

5. That really sucks
and of course if something goes wrong, you are to blame, not him. I am sorry. What will it bring that you informed that organisation?

8. We were called in for a meeting ...
and we were basically told not to tell anyone about problems going on within the department ; and that if we have a problem , we should come to him . The thing is , we have always came to him and we were tired of our observations being ignored . So we took it to the highest level and it made him scared and pissed off . It showed that he a lazy manager and now everyone really knows it .
