...Lennon's obtuse reference to the body part of your choice...any body part that you have "one" of. It was actually from a Lennon interview...maybe the "Playboy Interviews," the last ones he did, where he did some song-by-song comments.

I picked "Man you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe. That line always sounded so cool to me. The whole song is great. One of my top ten Beatles songs.
In my opinion, The Beatles, especially Lennon, were at the top of their game recording this tune.
