2. We saw it Saturday night
I thought it was excellent. Sort of like Grand Canyon, with several disparate stories all coming together at the end. However, it is much darker than Grand Canyon was. It has a great cast and the acting is very good. It really makes you think. The prejudices people have were really right out there thrown in your face right from the beginning to the end.

I thought it was well worth the time and money.

4. THANKS for the info. I'm always on the look out for a really well
done and meaningful film, and this one sounds like it might just fill the bill.

Be prepared - it shows the worst of humanity but it suprises you with also showing some of the best of humanity. IMHO, we all know people like these characters so to me it wasn't over the top. It was right on and quite devastating. There were a couple of scenes that I just couldn't watch. There were also two of the characters who, after their stories unfolded, brought tears to my eyes everytime they appeared on camera. A surprise to me was Sandra Bullock's performance. I've only really seen her in the cutesy films. Her acting in this was stellar.

8. I agree about Bullock's role. She got a chance to show her stuff...
and she delivered.

All the acting was superb....no one was over the top.
How foolish and painful that we tear each other to shreds over such superficial things. Everyone is in some kind of pain it seems...regardless of their circumstance. Some are more aware of it than others.

9. I love Sandra Bullock and am ready to go see this
after reading all these replys. The trailer kept me glued to my chair. Can't wait but unfortunately, will have to until the weekend.

10. Oh good! You won't be disappointed. Be sure to get there in time
to watch the opening credits. The lights are a very insightful metaphor. You'll see.

And I love the first line...one character's theory of "why" there are so many crashes.
