To the elected: try to remember the name of the non-profit in the speech

This last weekend I attended a fundraising dinner for a decades-old non profit at which a nationally known elected Dem gave a speech.

Not only did he ramble and go on about things that had NOTHING to do with the non profit but he kept getting the name of it wrong.

I appreciate his PRESENCE at the event but this is NOT the first time I've heard elected officials at this sort of thing have barely any idea who they are speaking FOR.
