Worst Movie Ever: Gigli or Manos, The Hands of Fate?
Inspired by Michael Reagan complaining that the movie about Ronald Reagan was "the worst ever."

I vote for Manos. MST3k couldn't even make that not painful to watch.

2. Jiggly gets my vote
Manos was definately piece o' work, but it cannot begin to compare with PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE.

Now THAT was the worst movie ever.

8. If it hadn't been for MST
I couldn't watch five minutes of Manos. Even then, oh my God. My cousin stopped by when it was on and he seriously asked if I was stoned because I was watching it.

3. As Joel and the Bots pointed out
At least Manos had scantily clad women dancing around a campfire in their nighties.

"They just disolved to the same scene!"

7. The Creeping Terror
The movie with the giant carnivorous carpet, with the people inside it occasionally visible. Manos is way, way up there, though. Big budget atrocities, on the other hand, such as Gigli (haven't seen it), Battlefield Earth, Showgirls, Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, etc. are made more painful to watch, just because you can't stop thinking, "They spent $20 million on THIS? Didn't anyone read the f***ing script??!!"

13. Battlefield Earth...
I read that on a trip I took. Then I found out a movie was coming out and went "uh oh."

All three of the people who saw that should have known what they were getting into.

Zardoz. Worst movie ever made (that I've actually seen anyway).

I mean any movie in which this: is a major character has problems :)

18. Has anyone actually SEEN Gigli?
I'm just curious - with all the people who pile on it, you would think it would've been a box office success, but it wasn't. Something tells me that because it has Ben Affleck and J.Lo in the same movie, people are just automatically assuming that it's shit.

It may be shit, I don't know, I do know that it got mostly bad reviews. Has anyone here actually seen it?

19. "Getting Even with Dad": McCauley Culkin and Ted Danson (with ponytail)
it was awful. it got me out of the sun for two hours while stranded in Florence,SC after getting in a car wreck on father's day on the way back from high school senior beach week 1994.
but it was only barely better than being outside in the sun.
