I Got a Job! Should I Take it?

It's a 50% pay increase, but the company has a no facial hair policy (but pornstaches are OK). I currently have a closely cropped beard. When clean shaven, I resemble an 11 year-old. What do you think?

hair (had to be a bun for women and above color for men) and they had a dress code. :hi:

I was let go after 28 years last August. I remember the days of no facial hair, blue suits and red ties. Can't say I miss any of it.

not believe how everysingle office and cubicle was devoid of personality, with the chairs, desks...even the trash cans in the exact same place. It was kind of unsettling. :hi:

jobs are soo hard to come by, especially those offering a 50% pay increase! Lucky you! Obviously, your abilities won them over if you got an offer, not your beard. Shave and smile at the possibilities ahead of you!

and yeah, as a long term beard wearer I understand your pain. However, 50% is a big chunk and if you are able to swallow any other dictates they throw at you a goatee might have to suffice.
