So, just what would it take to make you 'run amok' with sharp objects?

I am posting this in the LOUNGE because I don't really want answers.
I just need to blow off some steam.

I learned something about myself last night, and I was surprised by it.

We all hate EVIL,in all its forms.... and we hear alot about it, because we care enough to follow the news...

We all hear about people who BEAT their kids...
And even people who RAPE their kids...

And I have actually come into contact with some of those people, and I kept myself under control. They DISGUSTED me, but it was just a MENTAL response.

Last night, however, My sweetie and I went to see a local High School play: The Laramie Project.

And the PhelpsBots were there spreading the word about HATE, as is their wont.

And tonight, when I saw this little boy, I almost LOST IT. I had to PHYSICALLY fight the urge to run across the street and carry him away.


So, am I somehow more concerned about KIDS being MENTALLY raped than the ones being RAPED physically?

Or am I just more upset because I saw this little boy tonight, in person? Because I was THERE?

Again, I'm not asking for answers.
I'm just ranting. And longing for the days when you could just whip out your sword and carve a path through evildoers.

That's pretty bad when a neo-socialist LIBERAL is wishing for some medieval swordplay, huh?

Like they say on South Park: "That's pretty fucked-up right there".
