5. Specifically, to me, it means that while I focus on my career...
slow down sometimes and spend time with my kid, my family, and my friends.

....to do things that are pleasant and not required by my career.

12. Stop and smell the roses
There is so much beauty in this world. Sometimes I just take my cup of coffee and sit outdoors in the morning, listen to the birds, if there are clouds in the sky, do my childhood creative thing, make images, appreciate what I have, great time for a gratitude list. Just a great time to run away from the reality of the crap that is happening in life. Enjoy my dogs, Take time to reflect, where I can improve my life. My friends have an impact in my life, I'm thankful for that. I'm thankful for DU, for all the anger on here, I'm thankful there are people who deeply care.

One of the things I do, I look back through my life, I see the failures and successes and the paths these led me where I am today. At my stage in life, with not the longevity I had several years ago, and now in retirement, I'm now trying to figure out what I am suppose to accomplish the remainder of my life. This is hard work!

I firmly believe we return to this life if we have not accomplished our mission in life. I really do not want to return, just can't figure out what it is I'm suppose to accomplish. I'll know it when I complete it.
