This poll is inconclusive because that option was not included.

entirely on just what in the hell that picture from the 4th of July ball meant. I've always believed that it meant the Overlook owned Jack's soul.

15. That's cruel and unusual punishment.
I think the only snowboard available at the time was a Snurfer.

I wish there had been Big Wheels when I was a kid. Pour some motor oil on the floor and do an extreme power slide down the staircase. Yee-hah! I blame society.

14. I'd start losing my shit early.
Like when my wife was skipping along beside me during the first tour and her grating voice bounced and echoed all over the place: "Gosh, hon, idn't this beautiful? I'll bet we could REALLY have a party in here!" *unnecessary little butt wiggle*

Oh, and I'd hide all the baseball bats.

32. I don't think it was ever "The Stanley".
It has changed hands a few times, but I believe it's always called "The Banff Springs Hotel". It's now owned by Fairmont:

34. Ah, no...we're both right!
The Kubrick version of The Shining used the Banff Springs as a location, and the TV miniseries version with Rebecca DeMornay and the guy from "Wings" used the Stanley as a location.
