Poll question: Do you have a pet/ pets?
Edited on Fri May-06-05 04:44 AM by undisclosedlocation
Just curious what the percentages are, given the number of cat pic/ dog pic threads. (Full disclosure: I don't, but girlfriend has a cat I am reasonably fond of.)

Edit: The Dino reference is a lot more fun if I don't break up "Rababababababababow!" but the poll is a lot less legible that way.

35. Lucinda is, too.
She sits right beside me, shaking and shivering. I've often wondered if I need to speak to the vet about a sedative for her while thunderstorms are occuring.

17. Big Doggie. Two Kitties
Supposed to get a kitten in the summer while my wife is off, too.

We used to have 4 cats and the dog, but two of them died of old age. The other two are about 8, so we need some new blood in the house. The dog is great with cats, so i think it will be fun to watch the beast interact with a little bitty kitty. Also, i think if the kitten knows nothing other than existence with the monster, she'll be perfectly fine and they'll be friends like the dog is with the other cats.

37. I didn't know what a jird is so I googled... Dying laughing here:
"Find out more about this neat little dessert rodent!"
This is the link:
http://petinfo.org/articles/jird.shtml
though the phrase in question is from the Google description. They spell it "dessert" at the link, too.

Two dogs, two southern flying squirrels, three house cats and a starved stray cat that showed up last night in the garage waiting for a trip to the vet to have him checked out in the morning, can't bring him in because his eye is oozing so I guess you could say four cats.

44. 1 little dog
An American Eskimo who we adopted from the humane society 3 years ago. He is such a loving affectionate dog to us. Unfortunately, he does not get along with other dogs when we are around. He is fine though with others if we are not around. I think he is rather possessive.
