Anyone else's pets going NUTS tonight?
My two younger cats are bouncing off the walls right now-they've been going like this for HOURS. Last time they did this I woke up to hear about the tsunami. It's making me a little nervous!

Anyone else experiencing weird pet behavior tonight?

1. Check the space weather
http://www.spaceweather.com/

The only major event now is a coronal hole allowing charged particles through; the last storm of any coonsequence was a C8, which isn't all that big.

There might be nothing to it, but you never know. :)

3. Cool site
Thanks! Yeah, they may just be insane cats-probably nothing to be alarmed about..

OK, I take that back. My Maine Coon just made a sound that was something between a roar and a growl. Never heard THAT before! Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end :scared: Maybe they found something to eat that they shouldn't have?

2. Not me.
Moby (unknown mutt breed) is crashed out HARD. He had a hard day at work with the dog-trainer dh, though. He'd probably sleep through an earthquake rigt about now.

4. My dog and cats are crashed out here by the SF beach
and the cats are good earthquake predictors. Meteors, alien invasions, not so much.

5. Lol!
Not a great chance of a sizable earthquake in Florida-alien invasion maybe, but not a significant earthquake. ;-)

Well, I feel better. Don't know what's gotten them all fired up, but it's probably NOT a natural disaster!

:hi:

6. Let's see....
...my Sascha girl, a tabbie/siamese mix, is crashed out in front of the floor heater, half on her side, front paws bent, ears twitching, while chasing rabbits in her dreams. My Zoe girl, a tortishell cat, is crashed out on the couch, chasing her own rabbits. Nope, no one bouncing off the walls here...
