Time, Newsweek, USN&WR? Which is it?
I cancelled my subscription to the Washington Post last January (it was a scathingly hateful column by Michael Kelly that finally pushed me over the edge). To take it's place I'm thinking of subscribing to a weekly newsmagazine like Time or Newsweek or USN&WR. Which of the three do you think is the most unbiased?

2. I second that... avoid USN&WR as they're a puke mag...
Time is cool, usually. :D

4. They recently had an article on the $20 bil for Iraq and how it's fuzzy...
Definitely not Bush boot-lickers who wrote that article...

5. Newsweek
I like Newsweek... a little bit of both sides is always cool. You should check out The Nation. I need to get a subscription again.

6. Yeah, I already get plenty of partison mags...
...I want to get a weekly that presents (or tries to present) the other side of the story as long as its not too partison.

7. I used to subscribe to Newsweek and USN and WR.Cancelled them both
along with the Dallas Morning News.Their support of the SCOTUS decision on the 2000 election was too much to swallow.

8. none of the above...go for the Economist

9. Subscribe to Harper's
Simply the best. Atlantic Monthly was ruined by the late David Kelly; has never recovered. I know - Harper's is a monthly, not a weekly. The three you name, you can check out on the Internet - And when has one of them last made an impact, or broken a big story? Give me Harper's - and Lewis Lapham's column - any day of the week.

10. Of those - Newsweek, but I prefer
The New Yorker - just finished Sy Hersh's awesome article delineating the "stovepipe" intelligence pattern instituted by Cheney etc. to rationalize the predetermined preemptive war.

Get it from USS (University Subscription Services) for a whopping discount.
