What's for dinner (for real)?
I'm cooking tacos, with the beef pre-marinated in Irish whiskey. :P No, really, plain ol' tacos.

26. For Real
KFC popcorn chicken and mashed potatos and iced tea.

What I'd really like: an artichoke followed by champagne chicken (Vincent Price's recipe), then coffee, chocolate mousse and a little bit of Grand Marnier.

Ah well, we have our dreams and we have our reality....

Khash.

30. Sometimes I think, "that's juat a lie! NOBODY cooks that well!"
But then I realize I'm the one who can't cook. So, I've been inspired by DUers to do something different. I'll be grilling a sandwich- roast beef with pepper jack cheese, onion and thousand-island dressing.

Cause you guys are making me hungry!

:P

So you are certainly invited :)

I went to the theater (not the movie kind; the Berliner Ensemble - the Brecht place); the next affordable restaurant to that is Alsacian. Not to mention: the food is good.

32. Reminds me of my ex-husband's mother --
She was a refugee from Gdansk, Poland who ran a catering service in the upper West Side of New York City. Boy, was she a great cook! Luckily my daughter and my son inherited her interest in and love of cooking.

I am having a simple meal of chicken, potatoes and broccoli, with sugared strawberries for dessert.

My husband and son-in-law are going out for Mexican food. I'm staying home to do some work (if I EVER get motivated!).

He's the chef around here. I just sit back and reap the benefits of having a SO who loves to cook (and actually cooks well). Tonight, though, we most likely will be having leftovers from taking my dad to dinner last night (for his 76th birthday). Went to a great place in PA called The Iron Bridge Inn. Yummy!
