Rumor has it the good folks at Focus On The Family have been sniffing around our production of "Bat Boy", as they have previously attacked other productions. PM me for more info, but it's in the Philadelphia area. PLEASE come out and fight for good original musical theater with a message (tolerance!).

My college put on a production of Bat Boy last semester, how did this manage to offend the senses of FOTF? I kinda wish they would have come to my campus, I would have had fun with them!

There's a whole saga going on in California about it. Focus on the Family has been trying to get a high school's production shut down, but the school board stood behind the students. One of the writers of "Bat Boy" has all the relevant stories (and commentary) in his blog:
