Recommend a crappy band.

I want to expand my musical horizons, and it occurs to me that I hardly listen to any rubbish. I've unfairly turned a deaf ear to the wide world of musical effluvia, but I'm so behind the curve I hardly know where to start. Can y'all help a fellow DUer out?

That's what almost everyone I've ever played XTC near has told me. WTF?!?

BTW, Great Big Sea are like a pop-influenced Newfoundland traditional folk band. A little sappy, lackluster on their albums, but ROCK when playing live.

They are allegedly one of the crappiest bands of all-time. I enjoy them quite a bit, though.
