Belgium Students Break Pillow Fight Record

Thousands of students from Leuven University in Belgium had a great time breaking the world record for the largest pillow fight on Tuesday.

The event, at one of the city's main squares, was organized as part of a campaign to elect a new president for the Student Union at the university.

After 4,000 free pillows were handed out, the square was turned into one big dormitory filled with pillows flying through the air for five minutes.

The students broke the record by more than a thousand pillow fighters and helped raise $12,867 for charity.

The money will go to a local children's home that helps children suffering from asthma, obesity and chronic fatigue syndrome.
