Hey, Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" is one bad ass song. I keep listening to it over and over and over. I can't get enough. Thought you should know. ;)

2. Heard it a long time ago

But didn't really care for jazz of any kind. Heard it again recently and started talking to my dad about it (he's a musician) and that started a whole thing for me. I've been buying up everything "jazz" I can find. It's all Brubeck's fault. That song has "cool" just DRIPPING off of it. :)

YOu DO hear it OVER AND OVER AND OVER on Jazz stations..and yeah...it's a pretty cutting edge piece. :D
GO get thee some Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers...that era of jazz is probably the most exciting.
