I wasn't going to put the cake outside this time. I mean, I spend years looking for the damn recipe which is written on a 1-use self destructing paper and I bake this cake using massive amounts of Green Food Dye in the Icing. I was all about putting it on my kitchen counter but for some bizarro reason I figured it would just be safer out because even though there looks to be those big massive grey clouds in the sky, personally I don't think it'll rain.

And then you go and leave your damn dogs out - I think they ruined my cake

so you can make it again? Only this time, I would suggest using a different color icing (green just tastes nasty no matter what you do to it), and please, please, please, after ALL that work, do not leave it outside in the rain, in the park. You put all that work into it, and it took so long to get it just right, it just doesn't make any sense to leave it to the elements. At least, if you do leave it outside, please check the weather report before doing so.
