Help me make a decision
I have a backpack that is full of school work I have been putting off. My son says it must weigh 50 pounds but I think it's closer to 40.

So should I just let it sit tonight and play on DU while watching Judging Amy? Or should I be responsible and do my homework?

3. suggestion...
its practical but may solve your conundrum: work on homework for 1 hour, then play on DU for 15 minutes. Then work on homework for another hour, rewarding yourself for another 15 minutes and so on.... That way, you can get your work done, and have a break here on DU!

8. Seems to be the popular suggestion.
Ok, I am going to work for 15 minutes.

But first I have to post something over on the education board. And wait for replies. Then there's that PM I am waiting for a response to. . .

11. I used to joke about "taking papers for a ride."
I said it to a couple of other teachers and soon we were asking each other, on Monday mornings, if we had taken any papers for a ride that weekend.

As in, they didn't even make it into my house!

I say grade while watching Judging Amy. I used to mute the commercials and grade during them for hours.

14. Every time I have a student teacher
I show her how to put some student work in the 'circular file'. LOL

Oh gawd, I just found a stack of papers from March in my backpack!!! I am soooo bad.

But this has been a great Judging Amy tonight.

12. f homework
you really one of them book lernin types? this is hugh!

seriously though, you can always put homework off. i say what point is it to lie to yourself and act like youre going to get anything done. why not wait until the last minute, that's what i say. when it comes down to the wire, that's when the heroes shine.
