I am 7 weeks post op. Gastric Bypass also w/duodenal switch. I hope her recovery is uneventful, and that she does as well as i've done.

VERY tiring :) but I got through it. I think what I found hardest was sitting for eight hours. I'm still fairly uncomfortable and today I WILL wear a sports bra!!!

I am 8 months post-op today, and feeling better than I have in YEARS. I'm 80 lbs. lighter and more active than I have ever been in my life. My sleep apnea is gone, so is my high blood pressure.

Here's hoping the same kind of positive results for your wife.
