1. I saw 'em open for the Jayhawks a couple of months ago.
They were pretty good. Sort of CSN meets the Beach Boys. Their record's a little tame, though...

3. I'm a big Matthew Sweet fan.
But the Thorns just didn't float my boat. I wish that Sweet would get back to Rockin' Girlfriend-style.

they all sound fine as solo artists and I really like matthew sweet and edwin mcain, but their new group leaves something to be desired.

6. I know David Gray
but as I'm not fro the US I don't know much about your folk music. Personally I thought they were pretty good although my partner thought the songs were all samey.
