many old timers have left after this place became a jr high 'look at me' fest every day. Last week or so Arwalden (I think it was him) posted an 'oldtimers' thread and I was shocked at how many names were in there that you rarely see anymore.

Sad.. we used to have lots of half way intelligent topics to discuss here - lots of silliness too but the topics weren't so self centered. Yes, we had our bickering too, but it usually blew over and the ignore function wasn't really necessary.

You're right to a point that perhaps those of us who have pulled back should take it back, BUT when the general overall vibe here has changed from what used to attract us I see no point in wasting my time to the level it would take to do so.

Everyone has a right to post here, just as I have a right to not and to acknowledge things are not the same.
