There's an Effin' BIRD in my house!!
Don't know how it got in here. I've got it trapped in my son's room and everytime I try to go in there it swoops me! :scared:

1. It's scared.
Try to capture it in a bath towel or pillowcase and let it out.

2. We had some success
in getting a small bird out of our house by closing off all the doors except the doors that led to the outside....

don't know if it will work for you though....

3. Get a sheet. Use the sheet to guard your bod and net the bird
A big net would be ideal, but it's hard to get the bird out of.

My cats would LOVE to help you in your endeavor!

Good Luck!

6. Open a window...
he'll evenutally fly out the window. Dont stress him out too much that he flies himself into a wall and breaks his neck. Let him take his time.

15. swooping at you won't hurt you actually. It's too little to hurt you...
so be gentle, the poor thing is terrified. Go in and open the window and turn off any other lights. It will go towards the light source.

14. when there was a bird in my basement I wouldn't go near it with a 10 ft
pole. Fortunately I had a 12 ft swimming pool skimmer with which I netted the bastard and evicted him. (I have a bird phobia)

myself. They're fine outside, but when they come near me they freak me out. I was listening at my son's door, and I think it landed somewhere.
If I can get in there, I can open the window but I don't know if I can get the screen out.

16. Effin birds are rare!
Don't kill it! Capture it and bring it to the Royal Geographical Society, they will provide you with a substantial reward.
