Wireless computer (mouses mice)? are overrated.
It seems I have to replace the batteries in the damned thing every 3 weeks.
:wtf:

Now the keyboard lasts about 6 times as long.

4. it's at work, so I don't have to buy them.
But they wouldn't buy rechargables (too expensive :eyes: )

I would just hate it when we run out and can't order any more for 6 months...

11. Ha!
I could REALLY out myself but the commercial I am in ....well I look like hell. So that one will stay secret and it really would out me. I like at least some anonymity.

3. Strange, mine last months, mouse and kboard

The kboard being wireless is really handy for moving it out of the way for when I'm using my drawing tablet, or typing kicked back in my reclining chair with it on my lap. I'll never go back for home use.

5. maybe the mouse brand is sucky.
Everyone here at work has the same problem - and they are all the same brand of mouse (Dell by Logitech)

But, the keyboards (by them as well) are perfectly fine.

15. I have a Logitech cordless Click! optical mouse
and it's fabulous. Dell must have had Logitech make them a cheap mouse.

8. get one that you can recharge
you just sit the mouse in the stand when you are not using it and it recharges the mouse. no batteries to mess with.

14. I love my Logitech MX Laser mouse
Nicad battery. Overnight charge lasts over a week and the battery has been going strong for quite some time now. Plus its a laser and not a LED laser wannabe. Very accurate and responsive (and yes I game with it).

Both my keyboard and mouse are wireless and I am never going back.

16. Get the highest capacity NiMH batteries you can find
and put several into constant charge rotation. I have NiMH's in all my remotes too. They're great batteries, and if you keep at least 4 spares charged, you'll never have a problem with dead batteries.
