4. Very atypical to rise so early
But I hadn't seen the sunrise over the Atlantic since at least 1987 or so... I was due!

It's worth it. There is something magical and primal about watching that enormous golden orb which gives us all life, appearing over the expanse of the ocean. :D

I LOVE Mrytle Beach!!! That's my FAVORITE vacation spot when I just want to relax and hang out. Very peaceful. The last time we were there (about three/four years ago) the weather was fantastic! Not a day over eighty-eight degree's.

11. I lived in Va Beach back then
Never saw a reason back then to go down further than the Outer Banks, but now I do. :-)
