5. I find when I'm yearning for a phone call, the best thing to do

is anything that would be inconvenient to stop for in the even of a phone call. Like, - take a magazine into the loo and have a long :hurts:, or sink into a hot, scented bubble bath, or start cleaning your oven. The moment you are least able to jump up and get the phone will be the exact moment your call will come through. Works every time.
