I tried to order a pizza, but called the State Police instead.
I only had 2 beers while playing cards this afternoon!

I dialed the phone, it rang twice before someone answered. I expected to hear "Primetime Pizza!" But noooo, the voice says, "Pennsylvania State Police, Kiski Valley Station, Officer So and So speaking." I very meekly said, "Oh, I'M SORRY, I HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER!" Like a total dumbf*ck. Like your phone number doesn't come up at the barracks or anything.

I'm so embarrassed. :dunce:

On the other hand, I hear that they deliver (and very quickly).

17. That really happened to me...
The telephone co., here, can be reached at 811. I called 911 by mistake because my brain skipped a beat or something and I automatically dialed the most prominent number. I hung-up right away when I realized my mistake and they called me right back. I then had to spend 5 minutes convincing them I was that stupid.

In retrospect, I think it was probably a bad idea on the part of the phone co. to use that number. Anyway, you're (original poster) not the only one who has made a naturally stupid mistake...
