What's the deal with Internet2??
I realize this isn't a commercialized thing yet, and that there is some lawsuits from the RIAA pertaining to file sharing movies and songs.
From what I have read it seems to be extraordinarily fast. Is it still in the file sharing mode whereby one needs a program such as Kazaa and Grokster in order to download stuff?
It's still not an internet as we know it is it?

1. Avoid Internet2 - it's "The Man" trying to control cyberspace
My understanding is you get faster speed and all that good stuff - but you check many of your civil rights at the I Agree button.

2. Sounds like it....
UW file-sharers may face lawsuits <---this article is where it made me wonder.
I then googled i2hub from the article and got a file sharing page to download software.
It's one of these, "sounds too good to be true" type pitches, ya know?
