think their kids are property, not human beings with their own minds and thoughts. So parents assume they have a right to indoctrinate the kids to be like themselves .Schools go on the idea that kids belong to the state so they indoctrinate them into the ways of obedience to the state and"norms". Business goes on the idea kids are going to be owned by business as consumer/workers and try to mold kids minds into workers and brand loyal consumers.
What happened to the idea a kid has a mind and life of their own to live? What's wrong with a kid using their mind for them self to explore this world and find happiness? What's wrong with the notion that a kid who needs help learning how to survive, and who needs to be nurtured and shown how things operate in this world need not be coerced?,What if a kid needs to be shown how to tie shoes to read or to drive, but does not need a coercive adult making his mind fit into demands of parents, state, church or corporation so that these entities are not offended or made to feel insecure like they are'losing control'?
We sacrifice kids to adult ego, adult emotions, state, church and corporation..Until years later they 'rebel' when they figure out that all that conditioning has not led them any closer to happiness. When that awareness happens to a kid, that they have been used and lied to,perpetuating the same bondage that keeps their parents miserable, all hell breaks loose.
