U gotta check out "Dub Side of the Moon"

Listen to some tracks from the album:
http://www.easystar.com/dubsidemain.html

Pink Floyd and/or reggae fans will love this album, so true to the original but with a quality rasta input. Yes, if u are wondering, the album *does* synch up with "The Wizard of Oz."

U can buy it at a store or u can find it online, too--very popular right now. It's mad!

1. I've got it. It's great
A friend of a friend who worked at Borders turned me on to it. He said he's never played it at the store without at least one person buying it :D

12. Yup. I think the members of Pink Floyd agree with me
How else would this album have gone to disc?

Breddi, u either got a hit off of it or u didn't. U didn't, okay.

Me, I feel the artists involved put together an excellent tribute to the original work. :smoke:

15. Okay, I just listened to a track that made me cringe
I think I must have been out of the room the first couple of times I played this but the drum n bass on "On the Run" really rubbed me wrong. That, and "Us and Them" are the two weak tracks on this album.

If track 2 had had its rhythm track reconsidered and the vocals been rearranged on track 6 it would be a better album.

So, the original is better, no surprise there...but as covers go, this album exceeds expectations and still is a bonus to any collection, imo.;-)
