3. Morgan would make a sweet Alfred
though I prefer Michael Caine, overall.

4. Freeman is Fox
Edited on Fri Apr-29-05 05:05 PM by Hatalles
Oh, no... Freeman plays Lucius Fox, the financial genius who *really* runs Wayne Enterprises and one of Bruce Wayne's closest friends.

5. I liked the first Batman with Keaton
The second was ok, the rest got hokey.

This one, I can't wait for!

7. Maybe it was Keaton that bothered me...
Edited on Fri Apr-29-05 05:32 PM by Hatalles
I don't know... I never really liked the Burton films. They were dark, yes, and Batman had never really been presented that way on film or TV before, so that was a step up. Maybe it wasn't *human* enough, more of a grand scale visual display -- I didn't like Nicholson as the Joker either. But yeah, I'm in the minority.

I'd recommend checking out the fanfilm Batman: Dead-End. Wonderfully done and the Bat-suit is really amazing. I'll see if I can edit in a link...

8. That was well done!
I am a Nicholson fan, so that may explain my love of the first flick. I actually thought Keaton was more of a "real" character than Clooney or Kilmer. Like Star Wars, I had to see all of them or I wouldn't have felt "complete".

I am looking forward to Episode III as well.

9. Oops. I meant the Burton films + the other two...
The first two were definitely better than the second two though none were really true to Batman as much as I would have liked.
