4. nope
The feet were JimmyJazz's. Or maybe Revolutionary Acts. My feet, while sturdy, have never been called cute. ;)

3. What's even better is her name for her kid:
"Progspawn."

You gotta like that.

Is it nice to have Missy back?

What's your temp cut-off for putting the top down?

9. Actually, Missy has been allowed to go topless in public
for two days now! And boy, have I let her strut her stuff, after a week of living with a station wagon followed by three days of enforced modesty.

It wasn't the temperature; we just had to let the new parts stretch out.

My personal cutoff for roof-down is about 36 degrees. Heated seats help you look like a maniac without much actual pain!

11. back when i had Buffy...
(The red VW Cabriolet Cheerleadermobile) I would take the top down anytime it got over 50 degrees. And sometimes even a little cooler. I didn't have heated seats, but I always had gloves in the glovebox and a windbreaker and hat in the trunk. :)

24. Oh, yes. When I drove British sports cars back in the 1970s
any temperature was fair game, because I didn't have to worry about the gears and motors in the top mechanism, because there weren't any.

The field jacket, the eight-foot white scarf, the gloves, and the hat,and I was ready to go.

Ah, for the old days...(But I do remember the goddamn MGs and Truimphs breaking all the time. Maybe those days weren't so great after all...)

Speaking of your Cabrio: the first NEW car I ever owned was a 1982 Rabbit convertible:

6. progmom is a beautiful, sophisticated woman
who I'm sure is an amazing mother, and cares a lot about all of us.

Plus she knows tons about jazz music that I would never have known if I hadn't meet here on DU.

Does that help?

If they're that bad then I can quit saying nice things about you. I'll start a thread: "Do You Guys Know How Hidjus Progmom Is? Look Here!"

I don't think so, though. The pic I saw wasn't all that great and you were still a fine lookin' lady. So you're just gonna have to live with it.

Khash.

26. She knows the name of every "PowerBall" winner since 1998.
She can take a "nothing" day and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile.

She once killed a man for snoring too loud.

She's been known to be calm.

She can count to 16 on her fingers and 4 on her toes.

She once did a bunch of Angel Dust with me and we thought we could fly, so we jumped off of the top of Sears Tower and got caught halfway down by Batman.

She can cook pancakes without flour, heat, or water.

She can recite the alphabet backwards without opening her mouth.

And she...is my mother. I LOVE YOU MAMA PROG!

Just to go along with my borrowed Firesign Theatre refernce that won the damn T-shirt contest.

35. These are some prize-winning jugs, honeybunch.
Noooooo..check out the front page. DU is using a slogan I submitted on their new T-shirts without proper attribution. It's a quote from an old Firesign Theatre album which I submitted as a joke. Unfortunately, they chose it, and now, it's all over the place.

I'm quite embarrassed.
