...I kinwo the term German Jude means a male Jew. Is there a differentiation between male and female--I would assume there is, as there is in most non-English languages. Thanks!

but i think mainly you'd preface it by die (the) for female, and der for male. though most words have a specificied sex, i don't think that would apply when you're talking about a specific person... though i don't really know. it might. it's been too long for me to remember.

EDIT: actually, just occurred to me. it has indeed been a long time. i don't have much business talking about deutch, but since nobody is responding... it may well be "judin"
