See, here's the thing: there are certain exceptions (Auden, Nerval, Bashó, Yeats, Mark E. Smith...), but in general, I consider poetry to be something angsty teenagers do instead of actual writing.

I like you, chickenscratching, and I neither want to wound you with the sword of anti-poetic criticism, nor to feel like I am forced to lie to you. Yes, it is possible that there may be some passable verse on that page. However, such a scenario seems unlikely to me, based upon the volumes of bad poetry I encountered even BEFORE e-publishing.

So I must recuse myself from this. I hope you do not take offense.
