1. not me....
You know, I just realized that I was sitting through one of the worst seminars I've attended in years while the chimp was doing his dog and pony show-- and that's fine with me.

6. A Bush Goody:

"And therefore, if you believe every child can learn then you ought to expect every classroom to teach."

I don't expect classrooms to teach. I expect teachers to teach. That's why they're called teachers.

I expect classrooms to have four walls. Maybe a door and some windows too. It helps if they have chairs and desks as well - kids get awfully tired if they have to stand all day. A chalkboard of some sort helps too. Computers are nice but not always necessary...

9. We should note that the results are not scientific.
Then again, neither are the results of most polls.

11. One thing about AOL types is that they normally aren't leftys like us
These are you salt of the Earth, Middle America, Ma and Pa, apple pie types.

And they're not happy.

This is news.

13. If he'd just come out and say, "I want to destroy Social Security,"
they could at least respect him for honesty.

10. It was truly cringeworthy
I made myself watch some of it and I'm not surprised one bit by the numbers.
