Driver talking on cell phone gets speeding ticket
By Becky Pallack
ARIZONA DAILY STAR

A car was dragged 800 feet by an 18-wheeler on Interstate 10 after the driver, who was talking on his cell phone and speeding, got stuck under the semi's trailer Monday morning, authorities said.

Surprisingly, no one was injured, said Officer Jim Oien, a state Department of Public Safety spokes-man.

Justin Mitchell Oaks, 21, was not paying attention when his Toyota Corolla drifted underneath the semi-truck in the westbound lanes, Oien said.

2. how in the world?
was he talking and driving with his eyes closed? I know talking on the phone while driving is a bad idea, but damn...how stupid do you have to be to drift underneath a semi without noticing?

It most certainly is not. I take offense to that. As a proud holder of the name Justin, I can tell you, I have never done anything even remotely as stupid as that.

4. I got my car stuck under a semi and all I got was a lousy speeding ticket!
Seriously though... why did they only give him a speeding ticket?

6. Not just a speeding ticket.
From the article:

Besides receiving a speeding ticket, Oaks was charged with driving on a suspended license.
He also received a drug paraphernalia violation after highway patrol officers found a pipe in the car.

He also has a history of speeding, DUI, and possesion charges; which explains a lot.
