1. A film school dropout came up with a incredible vision

and made three movies. These movies revolutionized a genre and film making in general. Twenty years later (probably because his coffers are getting low) he decides to make the three prequels to his saga. One slight hitch, he has lost the power to direct and write. So the first two suck and that brings us to the third. Which looks like its going to suck too. Because he just can't find a plot and a whole generation has either grown up or been born to special effects blockbusters and they just don't "wow" us like they used to.

2. Leaping ahead 20 years...

The Film School Dropout's heirs decide that it's time to "finish the The Last Three Films." Since most of the cast from parts 3-6 are either dead or retired, they decide to recreate them with the latest CGI technology and then the true horror begins...
