1. I remember it
I never got a chance to see much of it. It was over before I knew it. Though I have picked up a couple of episodes a while back on the Sci-Fi Channel. It seemed pretty decent and did have Jeri Ryan in it.

Do you remember this one? I think it never got a fair shake and if they had really given it a try it would have been a great show. I am hoping that someone releases the episodes on DVD since I have seen other shows that only had a season or so show up now.

3. Especially the scriptwriters to the X-Files
I stopped watching it after the season when they had Stepehen King adn William Gibson write an episode each. That year just was totally boring in my opinion and I never picked it up again.

4. I remember that show
I wish it lasted longer than it did.

Do you remember that animated mini-series on WB called Invasion America ?

I'm a boomer, the original tv generation-I remember Thriller, for instance, hosted on NBC by Boris Karloff.

Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, even Captain Midnight and Superman.

Invasion America sounds like David Icke or "V" stuff.

6. Here's a summary:
A young crossbreed human and alien fights to keep both of his worlds from going to war. His father, an alien (Tyrusian) emperor and his mother, a human, are both missing, and the young man (David) has to discover who his friends and enemies really are.

and:

-it was really good imho (Steven Spielburg produced it) but I guess not good enough for another season.

7. Yeah I went to the link. Just giving my first impression of a show that
only ran from June to July 1998, D_L.

8. I loved that show
especially the first several episodes. After that, ratings weren't high enough, and they tried to rewrite the whole thing, killing the moderately attractive main character (well, she didn't actually get killed), and replacing her witha blonde bombshell.

Kinda funny really.

Bummed that it didn't last, but it was so ratings driven that it was destined to fail.

10. I love the way Robert F. Kennedy was featured in "Dark Skies".
As well as other historical figures and events.
