Man faces trial in dog sex case

Police Sgt. Debra Mathews gave this account of the incident:

A 10-year-old girl heard the dog growling in a spare bedroom during the early morning hours of Sept. 28. She believed that her mother's boyfriend was playing video games in the room.

"She peeked into the room and saw him having sex with the dog," Mathews said.

The girl alerted her mother, who also told authorities she saw what happened.

The allegations led to Thomson's arrest on charges of sodomy involving a dog. He could face penalties ranging up to 15 years in prison, if convicted.

if gays and lesbians could have sex with each other. When the Supreme Court announced their recent decision, Buchanan and the conservative flooded the airwaves with justifications for beastiality.

Personally, I say it goes to far and it's abusive to the animals. The Republicans should be ashamed of themselves for promoting this.

As bizarre as it may seem that a Westland man is accused of having sex with his girlfriend's dog, local investigators say such crimes aren't as rare as might be believed.
Former police Sgt. Laura Moore encountered a few strange cases during the 25 years she investigated sex crimes.

"One guy was caught more than once with neighborhood dogs," she said. "There was one case involving a man and a boa constrictor, and one with a man and a chicken"

... Thomson, who works for a home-delivery food company, has been ordered to stay away from Sparkles and the dog's family as he awaits trial.

Very sadly, THIS kind of thing happens all the time, too.

Women need to be much, much more protective of their children - their kids' welfare is far more important than having a boyfriend.
