On the way to work, * a pigeon (Walter) swooshed about three inches from my windshield. He was beautiful! * I saw a mockingbird dive-bombing a crow for a good half-mile * I saw a mockingbird dive-bombing a hawk with a wingspan of at least four feet I LOVE WHERE I LIVE!

2. When Mrs. V. works at home she's often treated
to the sight of one of our cats almost catching Chuckie (the squirrels are named Chuckie). Fun! :hi:

3. The squirrels in our neighborhood are big bullies...Jessie runs
after them and then they turn tail and run at her...and then I've got a screaming dog clamoring to come inside.

You realize, of course, that sending a video into Funniest Home Videos negates large quanities of cool. The only thing worse is actually GETTING a video on Funniest Home Videos.

8. Hey, first and foremost, I'm a mom.
;) and my kids wanted to do it. And money is always cool. But, we'll probably be disqualified as my Sister in law is a lawyer for Disney. Ah well.

11. Oh, no, I disagree...
Watching that show is an entertaining way to spend an hour. It's hilarious. It was totally uncool in its previous lives, but since they got rid of Saget and the dual-host garbage crap, it's been good. I like that Tom guy. And some of the captions they write for videos are hilarious.

Well, that's very VERY different then. They didn't replace him with either of the other two guys that were on "full house", did they?

15. Tom Bergeron is what makes the show even funnier. We never
miss it either...and sometimes I laugh until I cry. :hi:

Maybe I'll become DU's unofficial advocate for that damn show, I don't know, but I like it. I watch it every week. So does Mrs. V. and we laugh our asses off for an hour. The only videos I don't like are the fishing ones and the ones that involve snot.

13. I hear a thump, squeak, thud-thud-thump
from my office window. Something had flown into it. Turn out to be a large male Yellow Shafted Norther Flicker. He didn't survive the impact. Poor thing.
