Beatles snapshot from their first visit to the US in 1964.
Here's a concert rider from their 1965 US tour:
"The group just wanted adequate police protection, a "hi-fidelity sound system with adequate number of speakers," and "a platform for Ringo Starr and his drums." The backstage dressing room accommodations were also spartan: "four cots, mirrors, an ice cooler, portable TV set and clean towels."
The Beatles also refused to play for segregated audiences, as separated in "whites" and "blacks", which was common (in some areas) at the time.
Not much of a CR-demand compared to today's artists, as Jennifer Lopez:
"A copy of the document was provided to The Smoking Gun by two sources involved in the "What's Going On" production, both of whom thought Lopez's demands were a bit much considering the charitable nature of the project (proceeds will be split between the Global AIDS Alliance and the September 11th Fund of the United Way)."

A lot of Beatles pics here:

I sure miss it--even though I like JLo's (and other artists of today's) music, the attitude is different.
