How about a really big DU bash on the West Coast this year?
I live in Portland but probably in San Francisco? Does this sound like a good idea? I'm willing to help organize something like this...

San Francisco is is a mighty city...of course I'll ask my uncle if I can share his floor with his eight chihuahuas while I'm there...but I'm serious about this!

2. I live in Seattle.
Come to Seattle, it's closer to Portland and besides, it'll piss off the GOP!

...couple of DUer's who want to get together. It'll be in September. They told me to keep them updated on the Washington state board. Keep in touch there if you want to hook up with others.

Seattle's a lot closer than SF for me, maybe we could get more people there...I personally would love that!

9. I would go!

Sacramento would be cheaper hotel and airfare- for those who'd need it. And it's only 45 min to Napa and 1.5 hr drive to SF. Tahoe is also close by. (2hrs max to south shore) Great to make it a vacation trip...
just my dos centavos. :-) It would really easy for me to make SF, so whatever the group decides is fab w/me.

edited to add: seattle would be great too, it has been years since I was there.
