I was thinking about some of these threads in the lounge where people post their pics, and it got me down a bit. I've been trying to get some pics online, tho. I scanned some photos onto a disk, but I can't put them onto my web page, cause the site has a server error on it, and I can't open a Yahoo account and put them up to post em here, cause it's a free service. I have to call TWC (my web page's host) and get further help on it (I've been trying to get daily help for a week now), so I guess I'm stuck with anonymity around here for the time being. And I REALLY wish that I'll be able to post them REAL soon, because I spent a WHOLE couple of days last week (time that could've been used for other things) trying to get my web page up and scanning photos, etc. I'm not a computer idiot, but I guess I'm not enough of a whiz to the point where I can post a scanned photo onto a message board with all these restrictions.

I was also wondering: Is there anyone else here not computer savvy enough so that you can't post a pic of yourself in the lounge??? It REALLY sucks for me seeing everyone else's pics here and not mine...

3. I would not do it, but there is a way.

Go to some other forum that allows you to design your own avator, like at Mike Malloy's site. Then use your photo editor to select just your face in your picture, small enough to fit in the avator. Then, once this is done, right click on the new avator. Right click and copy the new page of the avator. Go to DU, and select personal settings. Paste the new page to your signature, and update.

Your face should appear immediately at the bottom of every single one of your postings, if done correctly. And it will stay on all of your postings until you readjust your settings.
