Is this the best/freakiest DU coincidence EVER?

Last night, I got to thinking about this band called The Dresden Dolls. I looked up their video for "Coin-Operated Boy" and even posted a thread about it here.

I listened to that. While I was doing that, I started surfing around and came upon this website:

I thought, "Hey they look fun." I started listening to their songs, but it was waking my husband up (it was very late) and I thought I'd listen to them today instead.

So about 30 minutes ago, I pulled the site back up, started listening to a few songs of theirs at random and came back over to DU to click around. I LOVE picture threads, so I clicked on this one.

When I got to the picture SouthoftheborderPaul captioned "8th Grade" I thought "EH??" I was listening to a band called The 8th Grade right at that moment! I even thought "it's probably not the same people."

So I asked and you can see the rest of the story on that thread. It is indeed Paul's band. I was LISTENING to him sing while READING his thread and didn't know it was the same guy.

Is this the best DU coincidence ever?

4. It might just tie one of my DU coincidence that happened just

last week.

I met and started chatting with a DUer and it turned out that she lived in my area. Then I found out that she knew several of my cousins quite well. We discovered that we had probably been at several events (wedding parties) at the same time. After a few more exchanges, I come to find out that we had both lived in the same apartment!!!

This place is part of an old estate. They do not advertise at all. Just a few apartments for rent.

How weird is that??

I remember sitting next to my mom at a restaurant a few years ago, and the old television ad for Slinky was running through my head. "It's slinky, it's slinky...." My mom turned to me and said "I have the strangest thing running through my head" It was the Slinky theme. I confirmed with others at the table that neither of us had been humming the tune. This is an ad before my time. What were the odds?

I have little psychic moments all the time. I wish I knew how to develop it. There's definitely something to regularity of minor predictions about when you're gonna see a friend or receive a phone call. People always reduce it to mere coincidence but it's something worth paying attention to....
