How can I find an audio or video file of McCartney's "The Frog Song"?
I've nominated Paul McCartney's "The Frog Song" (1984) for the worst song nominee. It has not been seconded, but I firmly believe that is because you all have been spared the horror of hearing it. I happened to be living in London when it was at the top of the British pop charts and found myself dismayed at how low the former Beatle had sunk. I need to find an audio link to attach to my nomination so others can truly understand how it must be included with Muskrat Love and John Ashcroft's "Let the Eagles fly" as one of the worst songs ever released. The fact that McCartney has recently re-released the song makes it all the more worthy for nomination.
I may try to download it just to check out its badness.
I'm a big McCartney fan, but will admit that he has several songs that can be a bit irritating. "Wonderful Christmastime" has plenty of detractors, I know. But my favorite bad McCartney song would either have to be "Mary Had a Little Lamb" (the nursery rhyme as a song, which was actually a Top 40 hit by Wings!) or "Temporary Secretary" from McCartney II which I believe could make anyone's head explode after ten consecutive plays! :-)
2. If you find a place to download it, let me know.
I don't mind paying a dollar or two for it. But I do want to attach it to the nomination thread for worst songs because there is no question it merits inclusion.
Just to give you a hint, there are lots of rib-its throughout.
