What's the deal on this prophecy of the last Pope, end of the world, etc.?

I thought that this pope broke the chain of that so-called "prophecy" of named popes until the last one ("idiotic nonsense" is what I think) by choosing the name Benedict, because I thought that that stupid prophecy said that this pope would have some sort of weird, long latin name. I forgot what it was, but it's not Benedict. Is anyone actually stupid enough to believe that the next Pope will reign over the end of the world?? But hasn't the chain of prophecy been broken anyway??

Anyway, as a Muslim, I think that's all hooey regardless.

This Pope was supposed to be the one who delivered the Church over to Satan, and his successor is supposed to be the last Pope.

There were supposed to be 112 Popes from the time of the prophecy.

Ratzinger is 111.
